Returns for redshirt junior season in 2007-08. Joined Ducks as a transfer in 2006-07 but did not compete. Will need to 12-7 1/2 to earn regional invitation outdoors in '08. The two seasons prior competed for Cal State Northridge. As a prep, set the Oregon 3A state championships record as a senior (12-0) in 2004.
Before Oregon: Competed for Cal State Northridge in 2004-05 and 2005-06. Best mark for the Matadors came indoors in 2006 (11-6 1/2). Away from track, spent time as a volunteer for the Association for the Care of Abused Children.
Prep: Oregon 3A state champion as a senior in 2004 by nine-inch margin and meet record (12-0). Also competed in state meet as a junior (pole vault, fourth, 10-9; 100m hurdles, seventh, 16.87, w:0.6). Led state rankings as senior with 3A state meet record (12-0), and ranked seventh in the state as a junior (11-3). Graduated with Skyline District meet pole vault records in 2003 (11-3) and ’04 (11-9). Honors diploma recipient. National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America member. High School (Coach): Rogue River ’04 (Ron Logan).
