Two-time state 800m champion and took third in the 2006 Nike Outdoor Nationals (1:50.92).
Prep: Finished third in 2006 Nike Team Nationals in 800 meters as a senior (1:50.92). Won Oregon 4A state 800m title as a senior (1:50.67) and junior (1:52.52), and also anchored 4x400m relay to top-three finishes as a senior and junior (first/third). Ranked third nationally in 800m as a senior (1:50.67) and also led state rankings as a junior (1:52.52). As a senior, also ranked third in state in 1,500m (3:58.66a) and took second in Meet of Champions mile in personal best (4:15.20). Four-time letterwinner in track and cross country, and two-time letterwinner in basketball. Associate student body vice president. High School (Coach): St. Helens ’06 (Gerry Tinkle).
