Enters junior season as one of three current team members ranked in the top eight of the javelin, one of UO’s most distinguished women’s events. Was one of three Ducks who finished top-five in the 2007 Pac-10 Championships. As a prep, was a three-time top-12 Oregon 4A state javelin placer.
2007-08: Pac-10 and NCAA Regional qualifier. Set personal best for the third year in a row. Competed in eight meets. Established personal best with a throw of 152-11 at the Sacramento State Invitational. That mark ranks eighth on the UO career list. Finished ninth at the Pac-10 Championships (145-0), just missing a scoring position for the Ducks. Capped season with her second straight NCAA West Regional appearance. USTFCCCA All-Academic first team. Pac-10 All-Academic second team. Season Bests: Outdoors - Javelin - 152-11 (PR), Sacramento State Invitational, Sacramento, Calif. (3/29/08).
2006-07: Pac-10 scorer in the javelin. Was one of three top-five scorers for the Ducks in the javelin in the Pac-10 Championships. Topped the West Regional qualifying mark in four events including the last three events before the West Regional. Did not compete indoors. Season Bests: Outdoors - Javelin - 148-8 (PR), Oregon Twilight, Eugene, Ore. (5/5/07).
Prep: Oregon 4A state qualifier in the javelin as a senior (10th, 123-8), junior and sophomore. Ranked third in the 4A rankings and fourth in the state based on season bests (146-9), a mark that was barely two feet off a top-10 national ranking. Placed fourth in the National Junior Olympic Championships in Eugene in 2004 (127-10) in an event that featured UO teammates Ashley McCrea (first) and Rachel Yurkovich (third). Two-time district champion.
