Transfer from Georgetown is a three-time All-American and the 2007 Big East cross country champion. Was one of Oregon’s top cross country runners in the fall. Was the 2007 NCAA runner-up at 10,000 meters.
Fall 2008: One of the team’s top runners in the fall. Finished fourth on the team and 14th overall (20:36.98) to help Oregon finish second at the Pac-10 Championships. Ran second on the team and second overall (20:20.51) at the Bill Dellinger Invitational as Oregon captured the team title. Also won the season-opening Pre’s Trail Run.
Before Oregon: Earned a pair of All-American honors during the 2007-08 year, including one for her 10th-place finish at the 2007 NCAA Cross Country Championships. Indoors in 2008, captured All-America honors in the 5,000 meters by placing sixth (16:10.83). Ran a personal-best 16:05.98 in the 5,000 on Feb. 23, 2008, at the Armory in New York. In cross country, was the Big East Conference and NCAA Mid Atlantic Region champion, earning her All-Mid Atlantic Region honors. Placed fifth at the NCAA Pre-Nationals meet. In 2006-07, finished eighth at the 2006 Big East cross country meet. Earned All-Mid Atlantic Region honors with a third-place finish and took 39th at the NCAA Championships. Outdoors, garnered first career All-America honors with a runner-up finish in the 10,000 meters at the NCAA Championships in a school and personal record 33:01.56. Placed 12th at the USA Track & Field Championships in the 10,000 meters. ECAC champion in the 3,000 meters with a personal best of 9:31.87. Redshirted the 2005-06 season. As a freshman, placed 36th overall at the Big East cross country meet.
Prep: Foot Locker Nationals All-American with a 15th place finish. Took fifth at the Foot Locker West regional in 2003. California Division III State Champion in cross country in 2002.
Personal: Pursuing a graduate degree in business.
