Returns as sophomore for Ducks jumps unit in 2006-07. Former Oregon high school 3A state champion in long jump as a junior in '04, and placed top-four in both horizontal jumps as a senior.
2005-06: Ranked fourth on team's outdoor season best list in the long jump (22-4) and second in the triple jump (42-1 1/4W, w:5.6). Altogether, competed in six events during outdoor season (long jump - 4, triple - 2), and did not compete indoors for UO. Personal/Season Bests: Outdoors - Long Jump - 6.52m (21-4 3/4), w:1.3, Oregon Invitational, Eugene, Ore. (4/22/06); Triple Jump - 12.83m (42-1 1/4W), w:5.6, Oregon Invitational, Eugene, Ore. (4/22/06).
Prep: In 2005 state 3A championships, placed fourth in long jump (21-8 3/4w, w:3.6) and triple jump (42-7, w:1.2). Also placed top three in state final in both events as a junior (long jump, first, PR 22-4 w:0.8; triple jump, third, 43-0 1/4, w:-1.1). District champion as senior and junior in both long jump and triple jump. Ranked third junior season in 3A rankings in long jump with personal best from state meet win (22-4). National Honor Society member and Honor Roll selection. Received multiple scholarships to attend the University of Oregon, and graduated with a 3.90 GPA. Also lettered four years in cross country and three years in basketball. High School: North Bend '05.
