One of area’s top prep sprinters last season, and could see immediate work in 200 and 400 and both relays.
Prep: As a senior, placed in 2003 4A state championships in the 100 (fourth, 11.08a) and 200 (third, 22.09a) and anchored winning 4x400 relay (3:21.16a). In 2003, also won Midwestern League titles in both individual events led the state rankings in the 100 (10.69a) and ranked second in the 200 (21.73a) at season’s end. He was also a state placer as a junior in the 200 (sixth, 22.47a) and the 4x400 (sixth, 3:22.50), and as a sophomore in 2001 in the 100 (sixth, 11.15). Was a four-time letterwinner in track.
