Returns for final collegiate season in 2006-07 ranked third among Duck pole vaulters based on last season's bests (15-9 outdoors / 15-7 1/4 indoors). Joined the Duck pole vault corps as a redshirt junior in 2005-06, and attended nearby Lane Community College from 2003-05. As a prep was a state pole vault scorer as a senior in 2002.
2005-06: Was team's top pole vault newcomer both outdoors (15-9) and indoors (15-7 1/4). Outdoors, logged highest finish and season best in Oregon Twilight (second, 15-9) in early May at home and ranked fifth on team. Also ranked fifth on team indoors with his season best from the Mountain Pacific Championships (11th, 15-7 1/4). Altogether, competed in pole vault in four meets outdoors and three meets indoors. Personal/Season Bests: Outdoors - 4.80m (15-9), Oregon Twilight, Eugene, Ore., (5/5/06); Indoors - Pole Vault - 4.76m (15-7 1/4) (PR), Mountain Pacific Championships, Seattle, Wash. (2/25/06).
Before Oregon: Lane Community College pole vault record holder (16-5 1/4). Finished second in NWAACC conference championships in 2005 in pole vault (16-0). Attended Oregon State as a freshman in 2002-03. Has also trained with the Vertical Vault Club in Salem, Oregon.
Prep: In 2002 Oregon 3A state championships, placed seventh in pole vault as a senior (PR 13-0) and ranked third all-time in school history. Lettered in track three seasons and once in cross country. Added four letters in soccer as a defender, and two in wrestling at 145 and 152 weight classes and was a state tournament qualifier. High School (Coach): Sweet Home '02 (Billy Snow).
