Wrapped up football career in 2005, and will see first collegiate track and field action. Started 17 career games as an offensive lineman.
Football at Oregon: 2005: Opened the first two games at right guard, then settled into three-man rotation. Played 90 snaps at Houston, followed by 60 against Montana. 2004: Played all 11 games and started nine at right guard. Top-graded lineman vs. Indiana and was also cited for efforts against Idaho, WSU and Oklahoma. 2003: Played all 12 games and started five, and played a then-career high 90 snaps in Michigan win. 2002: Played four games, including a season-high 20 snaps vs. Idaho, 12 vs. Portland State and nine in the season opener vs. Mississippi State. 2001: Was scout team’s offensive player of the week on four occasions as a redshirt.
Prep: Was one of West Region’s top 11 prep offensive linemen by PrepStar and a two-time first-team all-Orange County pick. Lettered three years in track and competed in league discus as senior (fourth) and junior (seventh). Also lettered two years in wrestling at heavyweight and took third in league meet as junior.
