Joined Duck track and field team during 2005-06 season and redshirted both indoors and outdoors, partly because of National Guard and military police commitments. Colorado 4A state championships qualifier in 2004 and '05 in the pole vault.
2005-06: Redshirted.
Prep: Two-time regional pole vault champion. As senior and junior, earned 4A state championships invites in the pole vault, 4x100 and 4x200 relays. Owned other prep bests of 27.0 in 200 and 16.5 in 100 hurdles. Helped her Glenwood Gymnastics Academy team to state runner-up team honors in winter of 2004. In 2001, won USAG state titles in the floor event and uneven bars disciplines, and ranked second in the overall standings. Altogether, claimed two letters in track, and another in dance. Graduated high school at age of 16, and spent fall of 2004 and winter of 2005 (Sept.-Feb.) in Russian exchange program and lived and trained in Siberia. Academic All-State honoree. High School (Coach): Eagle Valley '05 (Jeff Schroll).
