High School: A 2008 graduate of Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup, Wash...patrolled center field for the Jaguars, and was rated as the No. 5 recruit in the state of Washington by BaseballNorthwest.com...in 2008 helped Emerald Ridge to the district playoffs... was selected in the 44th round (1,326 overall selection) by the Minnesota Twins in the 2008 MLB First-Year Player Draft...played for the Washington Nationals Area Code team during the summer of 2007 after battling back from injuries...during the summer of 2008 played for the NW Timberjacks.
