2006: Midfielder who exhibited potential late in the 2005 campaign needs to find that momentum again for a productive sophomore campaign.
2005: Appeared in 16 games and started five. Saw more minutes as the season progressed, making appearances in the team’s final 11 games and all nine league contests. Earned starts against Elon, North Carolina State, Arizona State, UCLA and USC. Attempted 10 shots on the season. Had season-high three shots against both Elon and UCLA.
High School: Led Jesuit High School to a pair of state semifinal appearances and the state title game in 2004. An all-state and all-Metro League selection as a senior. Member of Oregon’s ODP team. Played for the Lake Oswego club team for seven years and claimed state titles in 2000, 2002 and 2003. Was a regional finalist in 2000 and made the regional quarterfinals in 2002-03. Also lettered twice in basketball for Jesuit, the two-time Metro League champs. Selected as a Multnomah Athletic Club scholar-athlete award winner. National Honor Society and prep honor roll member.
Personal: Born Taylor Ann Callan on March 11, 1987, in Portland, Ore. Parents are Gene and Peggy Callan. One brother. Grandfather Herb Callan played football at Midwestern University (1946-49). Involved with the National Charity League and Young Life. Major is undecided.
