AS A SENIOR | 2011
In 44 games played and 29 starts split between first base and designated hitter, batted .297 (35-for-118), driving in 17 runs…scored 13 runs with six doubles and one home run…was responsible for driving in the game-winning run on three occasions…recorded 11 multiple-hit games…season highlights included batting 2-for-5 with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored in 6-3 victory at San Diego (03/19)…batted 2-for-3 with two runs scored, a solo home run and double in a 9-0 win over Washington (04/10)…helped Oregon to a 4-3 victory over No. 20 California with a one-out, two-run double in the third inning.
AS A JUNIOR | 2010
Appeared in 47 games, making 26 starts at first base and nine at designated hitter…finished the season batting .350 (42-for-120) with 19 RBIs, 16 runs scored, 10 doubles and a .428 on-base percentage…hit .583 with a runner on third and less than two outs, and also batted .333 in two-out situations…had a .536 percentage of advancing of runners…totaled nine multiple-hit games and four multiple-RBI games…season highlights included a 2-for-3 effort with two runs scored in Oregon’s 5-0 win over East Tennessee State (5/14)…was 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and run scored in Oregon’s 6-5 win over California (5/30)…was 3-for-4 and his RBI single in the second inning produced Oregon’s first run of the game in the Ducks’ 4-3 NCAA Regional win over No. 17 UConn in an elimination game (6/6).

Redshirted the season after transferring from Western Oregon.
PRIOR TO OREGON
Played two seasons (2007 & 2008) at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Wash...as a first baseman at LCC in 2008, was named second team all-conference after hitting .336 with 34 RBI, 11 doubles and four home runs...during his freshman season was used as a pitcher.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2006 graduate of North Eugene HS...played four seasons of baseball as well as three years of football and one year of basketball...on the baseball diamond and football field received first team all-conference honors.
PERSONAL
Born Oct. 13, 1987 in Eugene, Ore...parents are Mark and Sheryl Peterson...has two brothers; Brian and Cody, and one sister, Katie...also has a 4-year-old son, Carter...majoring in sociology and plans to become a teacher after graduation.
