A 2010 graduate of Capistrano Valley High School in Mission Viejo, Calif…was a two-sport athlete for the Cougars playing four years of both baseball and football… following his senior season on the diamond under head coach Bob Zamora, was a second team all-South Coast League selection…batted .302 with 17 runs scored, 24 RBIs, eight doubles, five home runs and one triple…entering his senior season, was the No. 34 recruit (No. 169 nationally) in the state of California according to PerfectGame Crosschecker...as a junior in 2009, helped lead Capistrano Valley to a South Coast League title and CIF championship…played for the Milwaukee Brewers Gray Area Code team during the 2009 Area Code Games from Aug. 5-10, in Long Beach, Calif., along with Oregon freshmen Brando Tessar and Ryon Healy…on the football field was the starting quarterback for head coach Charles Biehn.
