Ducks Host Bruins In Top-25 Battle
The No. 13 Ducks return to action after their bye week with their second straight top-25 showdown, hosting No. 21 UCLA in Autzen Stadium for the first time since 2022. Oregon has won each of the last five meetings against the Bruins and 11 of the last 12 going back to 2008, as well as eight straight against UCLA in Autzen Stadium. Oregon is 1-0 to open conference play for the eighth season in a row, and the Ducks' 41-27 win over USC in Week 4 improved them to 18-1 in league play since joining the Big Ten.Â
A Win Would...
» Be Oregon's sixth straight against UCLA and 12th in the last 13 meetings, and ninth straight vs. the Bruins in Eugene.Â
» Make UO 19-1 in conference play since joining the Big Ten.
» Mark Oregon's fifth straight 2-0 start in conference play.Â
» Improve UO to 29-2 at home under HC Dan Lanning and 57-4 at home since 2017.Â
Range Of Emotions In Win At USC
All the heroics and heartbreak that sports can produce were there for Oregon during the Ducks' 41-27 win at then-No. 12 USC in Week 4. UO saw star quarterback Dante Moore leave with a scary injury in the first half, before rallying behind backup QB Dylan Raiola to a two-touchdown victory over its long-time West Coast rivals. The Ducks trailed 7-3 in the second quarter when Moore tucked the ball on a run into the USC red zone, slid and was targeted in the head by a defender. After team medical staff raced to stabilize Moore, Raiola threw a touchdown pass two plays later to WR Evan Stewart. Oregon never trailed again, as Raiola showed the value of his two years of starting experience at Nebraska by completing 19-of-25 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns. USC rallied back from a 10-point deficit to tie the game, 27-27, in the fourth quarter, but Raiola answered  with a 29-yard touchdown pass to WR Dakorien Moore and RB Jordon Davison capped off the win with a TD with 2:13 to play. RB Dierre Hill Jr. shined with 191 all-purpose yards - including 105 receiving - and two TDs, and TE Jamari Johnson racked up seven catches for 119 yards in his first action since Week 1. "We just came together and said we're gonna do it for Dante," Dakorien Moore said. "You know, we're gonna get our team together, we're gonna go out there and make Dante proud."
New Uniform Honors Origin of SpeedÂ
The newest Oregon football uniform will provide a nod to the past with an eye toward the future. The Ducks will debut a new look for their upcoming home game against UCLA. The last version of the program's "Generation O" series of uniforms is themed "The Origin of Speed," and it has dynamic imagery that harkens back to the birthplace of UO football, Hayward Field. Last Time Vs. UCLA
The Ducks will face off with UCLA for the first time since Sept. 28, 2024, when they made their Big Ten Conference debut with a 34-13 win over the Bruins in Pasadena. Oregon scored 21 points in the second quarter to take a 28-10 lead into halftime, though the Bruins ran an interception back 96 yards for a touchdown with just four seconds left. The Ducks kept UCLA's offense out of the end zone all night long, allowing just 172 total yards with only 47 yards rushing. Eventual Heisman Trophy finalist QB Dillon Gabriel threw for 278 yards and three touchdowns, including 121 yards and two touchdowns on 11 catches by WR Tez Johnson, and RB Jordan James ran for 103 yards and a score. Among current Ducks to play in that game - OLB Matayo Uiagalelei had three tackles and a sack, ILB Devon Jackson made four tackles, OLB Teitum Tuioti and DL A'Mauri Washington each had a tackle, and WR Evan Stewart caught three passes for nine yards. QB Dante Moore, a transfer from UCLA, was with Oregon as Gabriel's backup but did not play.Â
The Road Less Traveled
Oregon has played one of the most challenging schedules in the nation to begin 2026. Entering Week 6, the Ducks are the only ranked team in college football to have played three opponents currently ranked in the Associated Press top 25 - No. 18 Oklahoma State, No. 19 USC and No. 23 Boise State - with a fourth ranked opponent looming this week in No. 21 UCLA. The Ducks are also the only ranked team to have played two current AP top-25 teams on the road. Both USC and Boise State suffered their only losses of the season so far to Oregon, and Oklahoma State has outscored its opponents 100-24 in two games since giving the Ducks their only loss. Oregon is 16-8 against ranked opponents under HC Dan Lanning after its Week 4 win at USC, when the Trojans were ranked No. 12 in the AP poll.Â
Owning Third Down
Oregon has been among the nation's best teams on third down this season, ranking fourth in total third-down efficiency rating at 28.85. The Ducks own college football's best defense on third down entering Week 6, sitting first with just a 21.15 conversion percentage allowed, while ranking 20th in offensive third-down conversion percentage at 50.0. Success on third down has become a trend for Oregon under HC Dan Lanning, as the Ducks lead the country in third-down efficiency since 2023 at 16.91 while ranking fifth since 2022 at 13.42.Â

Home Cookin'
Oregon has been one of the most dominant teams in the nation at home over the last decade-plus, particularly in nonconference matchups. The Ducks own college football's longest active nonconference home winning streak at 40 games following its wins over Boise State and Portland State. Oregon has not lost a nonconference home game since Sept. 20, 2008 - a 37-32 loss to Boise State - and is a dominant 103-16-3 all-time in nonconference games in Autzen Stadium.Â
UO is 103-12 at home since 2009, good for a .896 winning percentage that ranks third in college football in that stretch. Oregon is 47-2 (.959) at home since an overtime loss to Stanford on Sept. 22, 2018, a span that included 23 straight home wins to match the longest home win streak in program history. The Ducks are 56-4 at home since 2017, ranking fourth nationally with a .933 winning percentage in that span. Oregon owns a stellar 28-2 record at home since Dan Lanning took over in 2022, ranking fifth in the country with a .933 winning percentage.Â
