Continues to be one of the most improved student-athletes on the team. Has improved her PR by nearly a foot-and-half over her freshman season and now stands sixth in the UO career list. Two-time Pac-10 scorer for the two-time league champs. As a junior in 2010, set four PRs and just missed a trip to her first NCAA Championships. Former Washington state prep pole vault champion.
2010-11: Outdoors - Qualified for her first NCAA Championships by setting a PR at the NCAA West Regional meet. Cleared an outdoor personal-best 13-5.25/4.10m on her final attempt to make the NCAA Championships. That was the sixth-best clearance in school history. At her first NCAA Championships, took 17th with a clearance at 13-1.5/4.00m. One of three Pac-10 scorers in the pole vault for the Ducks, tying for sixth at the Pac-10 meet at 13-0.75/3.98m. Won the pole vault in difficult weather at the Oregon Preview (12-5.5/3.80m). Matched that height at the Stanford Invitational. Improved to 12-11.5/3.95m at the Pepsi Team Invitational. Improved to 13-1.75/4.01m at the Oregon Relays. Went 13-0.25/3.97m in a runner-up finish at the Oregon Twilight. Pac-10 all-academic honorable mention. Indoors - Huge, six-inch indoor PR at the Husky Classic, where she cleared 13-7.75/4.16m in the pole vault. Bar was her all-conditions best by four inches and also ranked fourth on the UO indoor list. Matched that height (13-7.75/4.16m) at the MPSF Championships, where she finished fourth for the team champions. Just missed that bar at the UW Final Qualifier, going 13-5.75/4.11m. Opened season by clearing 13-1.75/4.01m at the UW Indoor Preview. Season Bests: Outdoors - 13-5.25/4.10m (PR), NCAA West Preliminary Meet, Eugene, Ore. (5/27/11). Indoors - 13-7.75/4.16m (PR), Husky Classic, Seattle, Wash. (2/12/11) & MPSF Championships, Seattle, Wash. (2/26/11).
2009-10: Outdoors - Pac-10 scorer in the pole vault. Opened season with a second place pole vault clearance of 12-7/3.85m at the Oregon Preview. Went up to 12-9.5/3.90m at the Stanford Invitational. Won the pole vault at the Pepsi Team Invitational (12-10/3.91m) to help Oregon win that meet. Cleared 13-0 for the first time in 2010 by taking third (top collegian) at the Oregon Relays at 13-0.25/3.97m. Established a new PR by winning the Oregon Twilight with the bar at 13-4.25/4.07m. That was the No. 6 clearance in school history. Scored for the 2010 Pac-10 champions with a clearance at 12-6.25/3.82m to finish seventh. Finished season at the NCAA West Regional with a clearance at 13-1.25/4.00m. Pac-10 all-academic honorable mention. Indoors - Continued rapid improvement during the indoor season. Opened season by clearing 13-0.75 at the UW Indoor Preview. Improved that to an NCAA provisional qualifying 13-3.75 at the Husky Classic, where she tied for third. Took sixth at the MPSF Championships (13-1.5) to help Oregon win its first MPSF crown. Season Bests: Outdoors - Pole Vault - 13-4.25/4.07m, Oregon Twilight, Eugene, Ore. (5/8/10). Indoors Pole Vault - 13-3.75/4.06m (PR), Husky Classic, Seattle, Wash. (2/13/10).
2008-09: Pac-10 scorer and NCAA West Regional qualifier in the pole vault. One of the better stories on the team improved her season best bar six times, including PRs the final three meets of her season. Competed in four meets indoors with a collegiate best of 12-6 at the Husky Classic. Opened outdoors with a clearance at 12-3.5 at the Oregon Preview. Upped her season best to 12-7.5 in a third-place finish at the Pepsi Team Invitational. Set the first of four PRs at the Mt. SAC Relays with a clearance of 12-11.5. Earned her first collegiate win and went over 13 feet for the first time when she cleared the bar at 13-0.25 at the Oregon Twilight. Matched that height at the Pac-10 Championships, where she tied for fifth to help the Ducks win the team title for the first time in 17 years. Concluded season with a seasonal best, 13-1.75 in a tie for eighth at the NCAA West Regional that was just one bar shy of an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships. 2007-08: Pole vaulted in four meets. Season best clearance was 12-1.5 twice. Cleared that height to finish third at the Oregon Twilight. Redshirted indoors. Season Bests: Outdoors - Pole Vault - 12-1.5, Pepsi Team Invitational, Eugene, Ore. (4/5/08); Oregon Twilight, Eugene, Ore. (5/9/08).
Prep: Won Washington state meet title as a senior by more than a foot, then cleared 12-8 in several meets afterwards and nearly converted several attempts at 13 feet. During prep career was a district, regional and state champion, and the state meet record holder in the pole vault (12-3). Lettered four years in track and field, three years in gymnastics in the all-around, two years in volleyball as a middle blocker and two years in cross country. Helped Mt. Spokane High School track and field squad to regional title and runner-up finish in the state meet, to a regional trip in volleyball, and to regional and state team appearances in cross country.
