2017 – Saw action on the field during the Spring Game recording five carries for a gain of six yards and completing 5-of-15 passes for 86 yards.
2016 – Redshirted
2015 — The former Travis Waller and early high school graduate began classes at the start of the spring term in order to get a jump on mastering the Oregon offense . . . Completed five of nine passes for 64 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown pass in the 2015 Spring Game . . . Added 11 yards on the ground on four carries . . . But it was an early-season foot injury that forced a premature end to his initial collegiate campaign and hampered his development . . . His 2016 spring proved to be more indicative of his potential when healthy as he locked into the competition as a starting quarterback at the Pac-12 level . . . Completed 15 of 24 passes for 188 yards and one TD in the '16 Spring Game in addition to running for 21 yards and a second score.
BEFORE OREGON — Ranking as the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback in the country by Rivals.com, the 4-star standout was included on the 2015 Rivals100, PrepStar Top 150 Dream Team, Scout 300 and ESPN 300 ledgers. . . Also rated as the 10th overall prospect in the state and 49th in the country by Rivals.com for the Friars, who posted a 4-7 record under head coach A.J. Gass . . . Accumulated 23-game career totals of 3,361 passing yards and 26 touchdowns on 249 completions (54.2%) while rushing for 2,133 yards (7.3 avg.) and an additional 26 TDs . . . Completed 122 of 224 passes for 1,692 yards and 14 TDs his senior season in addition to 840 yards (76.4 avg.) and 13 scores on the ground . . . Enjoyed his best game of the year vs. Edison, completing 70 percent of his passes for 306 yards and four touchdowns . . . Also ran for 100 yards or more on three occasions, including a season-high 152 yards in the season opener against Bishop Gorman . . . Engineered an offense that averaged 156.6 passing yards, 190.1 rushing yards, and 29.2 points per game in 2014 . . .
