HIGH SCHOOL ? Named to the first-team USA Today All-America team despite not taking up the sport until the ninth grade. Few honors have escaped the standout who was considered one of the best offensive line prospects in the West as well as the fifth-best at his craft in the country by SuperPrep magazine. Regarded as Washington’s most coveted offensive lineman in almost a decade, was one of three players at his position voted to the Long Beach Press-Telegram’s Best in the West elite. The 2003 SuperPrep and PrepStar Dream Team All-American was selected to the Seattle Times’ Blue Chip ledger, the Tacoma News Tribune’s Northwest Nuggets list and offensive MVP by the Seattle P-I. He did not allow a quarterback sack his senior year while paving the way for a 1,600-yard rusher. The two-time first-team all-South Puget Sound League South Division recipient participated in the2004 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
OREGON ? Coaches will patiently wait for him to come into his own due to the potential which lies down the road. However he needs to gain a better grasp of the offense and needs more progress in the weight room in order to enhance his physical style of play.
