• The Ducks' 17 assists have been recorded by eight different players led by three each from Sydney Hennessey, Grace Mensah and Haley McWhirter. Mensah scored her first career goal last Sunday versus Michigan.
• GK Maddy Goldberg is second in the Big Ten in both saves (62) saves per game (4.43).

• Six players currently on the Ducks' roster are working on their Master's degrees.
• Oregon's six seniors/grad students were recognized in a pregame ceremony last Sunday - D Sydney Cradle, D Lucy Green, GK Maddy Goldberg, M Haley McWhirter, D Makoto Nezu, and M Jayd Sprague. Of those six, four are working on their Master's Degree - Cradle (Nonprofit Management), McWhirter (Finance), Nezu (Sports Business) and Sprague (Sports Product Management).
LAST WEEK: DUCKS TIE No. 5 MICHIGAN STATE, MICHIGAN
In her first career start, Anna Solomon made five saves to back a defensive line that shutout No. 5 Michigan State, 0-0, Oct. 10 in Eugene. Three days later on senior day, Grace Mensah scored her first career goal off assists from Sydney Hennessey and Taylor Person as the Ducks and Michigan played to a 1-1 tie.
GOLDBERG CLIMBS CAREER SAVES LIST
Maddy Goldberg made her 100th career save in the season opener against Seattle and currently ranks eighth in school history with 161. Goldberg passed Cody Miles (150, 2008-10) Oct. 5 at USC.
GOLDBERG NOW SEVENTH IN UO CAREER SHUTOUTS
Maddy Goldberg now has five career shutouts - four this season - and is seventh on the UO career list. She passed Domenique Lainez (2001-05) Sept. 22 at Maryland.
"GRANDMA SEASONS"
Coined by Taylor Bryan in the aftermath of her game-winner against Seattle, Oregon has seven players in their "grandma season" (fifth year) of eligibility thanks to the NCAA's Covid policy. In addition to Bryan, others playing their fifth season in college include Sydney Cradle, Lucy Green, Sydney Hennessey, Haley McWhirter, Makoto Nezu and Jayd Sprague. All seven of those players have NCAA Tournament experience - Bryan at Virginia Tech, Cradle with Towson, Green at Mississippi, Hennessey with Tennessee, McWhirter at Mississippi State, Nezu an NCAA champion with Santa Clara and Sprague at Idaho. Because they played in the 2020 Covid season and subsequently redshirted, both Bryan and Hennessey actually have another year of eligibility remaining and could return for a sixth season.
SCHOLARLY DUCKS
Six members of the 2024 team are currently working on their Master's degrees:
Player - Master's Degree
Sydney Hennessey - Sports Business
Taylor Bryan - Sports Medicine
Mako Nezu - Sports Business
Haley McWhirter - Finance
Jayd Sprague - Sports Product Management
Sydney Cradle - Nonprofit Management
