2006: Game-tested veteran backup to Jessie Chatfield. Availability at the outset of fall in question due to a shoulder injury suffered in the spring.
2005: Reserve did not see action in any games, but was Oregon’s No. 2 keeper for much of the season.
2004: Got her first career start and win in Oregon’s 3-2 overtime decision against Weber State. Made three saves in the game. Also had relief appearances against UCLA (3S) and California (4S). Had a 2.69 goals allowed average. Pac-10 all-academic honorable mention.
2003: Made her collegiate debut in goal in a 3-2 win over Weber State, and played seven minutes.
High School: Four-year letterwinner played for the state champion high school squad as a freshman in 2000 and junior in 2002. A three-time all-region pick. First-team all-state as senior piled up more than 80 wins and a state record 57 shutouts. At the club level, she played for the Sereno ?85 Golden Eagles since 2001, the state champs in 2001 and ?03, and also had top-three state finishes with the Cisco club team in 1998 (first), 1999 (second), 2000 (third) and 2001 (fourth). She also played on the Olympic Development Program team in 1998-99 and on the ODP state team in 2001-02. Also lettered twice in softball. National Honor Society member owned a 3.98 GPA.
Personal: Born Emily Rebecca Marrer on May 21, 1985, in Binghamton, N.Y. Parents are Gary and Becky Marrer. One younger sister. Both parents played tennis in college. Major is political science with a minor in history.
