2005
Team captain along with Cristan Higa. Tall, strong and physical defender anchors a veteran back line. Late-bloomer has gone from a deep reserve as a freshman to a key starter as a senior.
2004
Played in all 19 matches, starting 16. Netted her first career game-winning goal to beat Gonzaga 1-0 in overtime on Oct. 3. Attempted six shots on the season (four on goal). Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention.
2003
Started 10 of the last 12 games of 2003 and played in 19 overall. Registered first career assist on an Andrea Valadez goal at Arizona State. Took five shots on the year. Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention.
2002
Played in 14 of 18 games ? sixth-best in a nine-person freshman class that saw plenty of action. Scored first career goal to pull Ducks within 2-1 in eventual loss to No. 20 Arizona State. Took other shot against Washington State.
High School
League player of the year, first-team all-state as a junior, and third-team all-state as a sophomore. Sat out senior year because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Club team (TTS Alliance) won state cup titles in 1999, 2000 and 2002. National Honor Society member.
Personal
Born Katie Jane Abrahamson on Dec. 27, 1983, in San Francisco, Calif. Parents are Rick and Missy Abrahamson. One younger sister. Father played basketball at Oregon, lettering from 1967-69 and later played handball for the United States in the 1972 and 1976 Olympics. Majoring in Journalism with a minor in women and gender studies.
