2002: Missed three of first four games, before playing the next 13 straight. Logged three single shots on season against Wisconsin-Green Bay, Stanford and USC with the first two counted as shots on goal. Pac-10 All-Academic First Team selection.
2001: Used a medical redshirt year after tearing the ACL in her right knee just one week before the Ducks? season-opener against Gonzaga.
2000: Played in 13 games for the Ducks, starting one ... finished the year with two shots, one against Xavier and the other vs. James Madison.
High School: Extensive club background with Cliff Avenue Sparta (five years), UBC Alumni (two years) as well as the U-18 National Team (two years) ... led Cliff Avenue to five straight provincial championships along with third-, fifth- and sixth-place finishes in the nation ... voted the team?s Best Defender and Most Inspirational ... for UBC Alumni, a premier women?s team in British Columbia, Wone helped the squad to two provincial titles ... also a member of the British Columbia All-Star team for five years, placing third at nationals once and first in the Western Nationals on one occasion ... besides soccer, Wone was her team?s MVP in basketball in 1997 ... an honor-roll member her entire secondary career, she also received the Burnaby North Outstanding Achievement Award in Academics each year.

Coach Steffen on Wone: "Dara is coming off an extremely rough injury, but became a much more physical presence as the spring wore on. She?s always been very good technically and tactically, and now with her health she adds the physical component and more confidence, and will likely be an important presence for us.?
