Final Road Trip of the Regular Season Up Next
10/07/25 | Women's Soccer
The Ducks make their final regular season road trip this week. Oregon will travel east to play No. 22 Ohio State on Thursday (4 p.m. PT) and Penn State on Sunday (10 a.m. PT). It will be the Ducks' first meeting with either school. Both matches will be on B1G+.
ONE-TIMERS
• Oregon has shown marked improved on defense in 2025 compared to last season. Through 13 games, the Ducks have allowed six fewer goals (16-to-22) and have lowered their goals against average by more than half a goal (1.23-to-1.83).
• Oregon has also already matched the total number of shutouts from a season ago (4).
• Among active players, Caeley Goldstein has played the second-most career minutes in goal in the NCAA (6,525). She's also seventh in both shutouts (23) and in saves (296) among active players. She needs four more saves for 300 in her career.
• Jayde Holley scored her first goal as a Duck, while Lauren Kenny and Cailin Bloom got on the scoreboard for the second time in 2025 as Oregon played Indiana to a 3-3 draw Sept. 28 in Bloomington.
• The Ducks also recorded a season-high four assists against Indiana, one each from Taylor Bryan, Lauren Kenny, Abella Hunter and Carys Hall.
• Eight different players have scored a goal for Oregon this season.
• Tracy Joyner now has a 129-85-30 career record. Prior to Oregon, she built winning programs at a junior college (42-15-7 at Santa Rosa JC), at an NCAA Division II school (36-25-12 at San Francisco State) and at the DI level (49-37-8 at UC Davis).
ON TARGET
Oregon is seventh in the Big Ten in shots per game at 14.31 and eighth in shots on goal per game (5.62).
CLUB 80
A pair of Ducks are on target to reach the vaunted 80 career matches played mark by the end of the season. Taylor Bryan needs to play in four more to reach 80, while goalkeeper Caeley Goldstein need to play in five more matches to reach that mark.
LATE GOAL SPOILS STRONG SECOND HALF VS. USC
The Oregon soccer team tweaked its approach at halftime Oct. 3 against USC and tilted the pitch in the second half, but USC broke the Ducks' hearts with a goal in the 86th minute to escape with a 1-0 win. After attempting just two shots in the first half, Oregon opened things up in the second half. The Ducks generated seven shots - a number of them on breakaways - but were unable to break through.
