Named second-team Class 5A all-Area team as a defensive back . . . Considered the No. 25 defensive back nationally by Scout.com . . . During his junior year he racked up 59 tackles, three interceptions, three pass deflections, two fumble recoveries and a pair of sacks on his way to being named first-team all-league.
