First Trip To Stillwater
After opening the 2026 season with a hard-fought victory over Boise State, the No. 2 Ducks go on the road for the first time to face off with Oklahoma State at Boone Pickens Stadium. This will be Oregon's first-ever trip to Stillwater, and the third all-time meeting between the two programs. UO and OSU face off in Week 2 for the second year in a row after the Ducks earned a historically dominant 69-3 win in Eugene last season, the largest margin of victory against a Power 4 team in program history. Oregon won the first ever matchup against the Cowboys at the 2008 Holiday Bowl.

Road Warriors
While the Ducks are known for being nearly unbeatable at home, they have also established themselves as one of the best road teams in college football. Oregon goes into its first road contest of 2026 with a 12-game road win streak going back to Oct. 14, 2023, the longest active streak in the country. Three of those 12 road wins have come against ranked teams, and UO is 18-2 on the road under head coach Dan Lanning. Oregon's 12 straight road wins are five more than Ohio State, which owns the next-longest road winning streak at seven games since losing in Eugene on Oct. 12, 2024.

Oregon faced a test in its 2026 season opener against Boise State, and the Ducks came away with a passing grade. Trailing 17-7 late in the first half, Oregon scored 17 unanswered points to take a 24-17 lead in the third quarter and then pulled away for good on a 62-yard touchdown pass from QB Dante Moore to WR Dakorien Moore in the fourth en route to a 34-27 victory. The Ducks nearly doubled up the Broncos in total yardage, 497-274, while Dante Moore completed 28-of-37 passes for a career-high 378 yards and three touchdowns, and 24 of his completions went to the quartet of WR Jeremiah McClellan (6 rec., 150 yards, TD), Dakorien Moore (6 rec, 93 yards, TD), WR Evan Stewart (8 rec., 72 yards) and TE Jamari Johnson (4 rec., 57 yards, TD). RB Jordon Davison also rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on just 12 carries, and the defensive trio of OLB Teitum Tuioti (6 TKL, 2.0 TFL, 1.0 Sack), OLB Matayo Uiagalelei (8 TKL, 1.5 TFL, 1.0 Sack) and DL Bear Alexander (8 TKL, 1.0 Sack) combined for 22 tackles, 4.5 TFLs and 3.0 sacks. DB Koi Perich tallied a team-high 11 tackles in his Duck debut, and K Gage Hurych made a pair of clutch field goals in his first game as Oregon's primary place kicker.

Playmakers Show Out In Opener
The Ducks' offense was balanced and electric in the 2026 opener against Boise State, putting up 497 total yards with 378 passing and 119 rushing. The attack was led by Oregon's returning stars, including a career day from QB Dante Moore with three passing touchdowns and a career-best 378 yards on 28-of-37 passing. Moore connected 24 times with his returning quartet of WR Jeremiah McClellan (6 rec., 150 yards, TD), WR Dakorien Moore (6 rec, 93 yards, TD), WR Evan Stewart (8 rec., 72 yards) and TE Jamari Johnson (4 rec., 57 yards, TD), and RB Jordon Davison ran 12 times for 90 yards and a score.

Last Time vs. Oklahoma State
The Ducks were historically dominant against Oklahoma State in Week 2 of 2025, running away with a 69-3 win over the Cowboys in Autzen Stadium. Oregon was incredibly balanced on offense, totaling 319 yards passing and 312 rushing while scoring touchdowns on nine of its first 11 drives. Seven different Ducks found the end zone on offense, including one receiving and one rushing from WR Dakorien Moore, and QB Dante Moore completed 16-of-21 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, the Ducks held Oklahoma State to just 211 total yards, including only 67 through the air. Thirty-five of those 67 passing yards came on a single play in the first quarter, and the defense scored twice during a 28-point third quarter on back-to-back pick-sixes by ILB Jerry Mixon and DB Peyton Woodyard.

Oregon has been one of the nation's best teams since head coach Dan Lanning took over, reaching double-digit wins in all four seasons since he arrived in Eugene. The Ducks' 49-8 overall record since 2022 is tied with Ohio State for second-best in the nation, trailing only Georgia (52-6), and they lead the country in wins and winning percentage since 2023 (39-5, .886). Oregon is the only FBS team to reach 13 wins in each of the last two years, doing so for the third time in program history and in back-to-back seasons for the first time after going 13-2 in 2025.
