All Oregon, All Day
The Ducks improved to 2-0 with a one-sided, 69-3 victory over Oklahoma State last week at Autzen Stadium. Oregon was incredibly balanced on offense for the second game in a row, totaling 319 yards passing and 312 rushing while scoring touchdowns on nine of its first 11 drives. Seven different Ducks found the end zone on offense, including one receiving and one rushing from freshman WR Dakorien Moore, and QB Dante Moore completed 16-of-21 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns. Oregon's 66-point victory was the ninth-largest in program history, the largest ever against a Power 5 opponent and largest since the 2023 season opener, and the 66-point defeat for Oklahoma State was its largest since 1907.
Historic Beatdown
Oregon's 69-3 thrashing of Oklahoma State in Week 2 went down as one of the most dominant victories in program history.
» The 66-point victory was the ninth-largest in program history, and largest since an 81-7 win over Portland State in the 2023 opener.

Every Phase of the Game
Oregon established itself as one of the nation's most well-rounded teams in 2024 and is off to an even more balanced start in 2025. Entering Week 3, the Ducks are the only FBS team in the top 10 for both scoring offense and scoring defense, ranking third nationally with 64.0 points per game while tying for 10th with just 8.0 points per game allowed. Offensively, the Ducks were perfectly balanced in the season opener with 253 yards both passing and rushing against Montana State, and they improved upon that effort against Oklahoma State with 300-plus yards both through the air (319) and on the ground (312). Defensively, Oregon held a Montana State team that led both the FCS and FBS levels with 4,179 rushing yards in 2024 to just 46 yards on the ground on 27 carries, and then limited a famously potent Oklahoma State passing attack to just 67 yards through the air. Oregon's special teams has also made an impact early in the season, blocking a punt in the first quarter against Montana State.

» Oregon was also one of seven teams in the top 25 for both third-down offense (9th, 48.6%) and third-down defense (23rd, 33.7%).
» Oregon's 2024 special teams ranked sixth in the FBS in kickoff return average (26.83) and tied for 11th in touchbacks (61), and was one of 12 FBS teams to return both a kickoff and punt for a touchdown.
Scoring At Will
Oregon's offense has been among the most dominant in the nation since HC Dan Lanning took over in 2022, and the Ducks have been especially potent through the first two games of 2025. » Oregon is now 6-0 under Lanning when scoring 50-plus points and 20-0 when scoring at least 40 points.
» 69 points vs. Oklahoma State were the third-most points scored under Lanning.

Incredible Balance
You couldn't ask for a more balanced offense than what Oregon has produced through two games. After being perfectly balanced in the season opener with 253 yards both rushing and passing vs. Montana State, the Ducks racked up 319 passing yards and 312 rushing yards vs. Oklahoma State. It was the first time since the 2023 season opener vs. Portland State that Oregon had at least 300 yards both rushing and passing in the same game, and the Ducks are one of only six FBS schools to achieve that feat so far this season. Oregon is the only FBS teams to have multiple games with 250-plus yards both rushing and passing, tying for seventh nationally with 568.5 total yards per game.
