Trip to Purdue, Indiana Up Next For Soccer
09/23/25 | Women's Soccer
Oregon heads back on the road for conference matches at Purdue (Thu., 4 PM PT) and Indiana (Sun., 10 AM PT). Both games will be on B1G+. After this weekend, the Ducks will play four of their final six matches at home.
ON THE PITCH
• Last Sunday, the Ducks became just the second team this season to shutout Northwestern (0-0). No. 1 Duke was the other.
• Oregon hasn't yielded a goal in the run of play in a Big Ten game this season. All 3 goals scored have come via PK.
• Through 10 games, the Ducks have allowed seven fewer goals this season than they did in 2024 (9 to 16). Oregon has also already matched the total number of shutouts from a season ago (4).
• Oregon's current goals against average (0.90) would ranks in the top five in program history.
• The Ducks have outshot the opposition in seven-of-10 games this season.
• Seven different players have scored for Oregon this season. Only Taylor Bryan, who had a brace in the season opener against Weber State, has scored more than once in 2025.
• Four of those seven players scored their first career NCAA goals - freshmen Miya Alamares (Weber State) and Addisen Boyer (Seattle) and fifth-year players Sydney Chura and Cailin Bloom, both at Hawai'i (Chura scored 74 goals at the NAIA level).
• Carly Cormack also found the net against Hawai'i, scoring a goal on the same field where she won the 2024 high school state title.
• Tracy Joyner now has a 129-83-29 career record. Prior to Oregon, she built winning programs at a junior college (42-15-7 at Santa Rosa JC), at an NCAA Division II school (36-25-12 at San Francisco State) and at the DI level (49-37-8 at UC Davis).
• Oregon welcomed 23 newcomers to the team for the fall - 9 freshmen and 14 transfers (6 from UC Davis).
