Graves Inks Three on Signing Day
11/12/25 | Women's Basketball
Three talented players set to join the Flock in 2026.
Pronunciations:
La'u Pele Falatea (law-oo pay-lay / fall-uh-TAY-uh)
Emilia Krstevski (eh-MEEL-yuh / kerr-STEV-skee)
EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon head women's basketball coach Kelly Graves announced the signings of guard La'u Pele Falatea, guard Brooklynn Haywood and center Emilia Krstevski to Athletics Scholarship Agreements during the fall signing period.
Falatea (Salt Lake City, Utah) and Haywood (Camas, Wash.) both stand at 5-foot-9 with Haywood coming in as the 26th-ranked prospect in the nation, according to ESPN SportsCenter NEXT 100. Krstevski is 6-foot-4 and the nation's No. 4 post player, the No. 41 overall recruit and a four-star prospect in the ESPN SportsCenter NEXT 100.
"Collectively, this is a tremendous class for us," Graves said of the signing class. "We filled a need with a center who will be great in an open, full-court style and we're bringing in two guards that can score at three levels and play the style that we want to continue to play. They fit our culture in that they are hard-working, team-first players that come from winning programs. Today is a great day to be a Duck!"
La'u Pele Falatea, 5-9, G, Salt Lake City, Utah (West H.S.)
Averaged 19.6 points, 5.6 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 4.9 steals per game as a junior at West High School in Salt Lake City, Utah … Helped lead West High School to 5A UHSAA state title game and is a two-time Utah 5A first-team all-state selection … Started all three of her seasons at West while averaging double-digit points each year and shooting 32 percent from the 3-point line … So far in her high school career, she has averaged over 16 points per game to go with more than six rebounds, five assists and five steals a game … She is the younger sister of former Oregon guard Nani Falatea (2024-25).
Graves on Falatea: La'u Pele is an incredibly smart, hard-nosed guard that possesses excellent skills and can shoot the three, but she can also score off the bounce and get to the rim. She's physical and can play the point as well as off the ball. She plays like a veteran, and the game never seems to move too fast for her. She's poised and reminds me a lot of her sister Nani, who Duck fans will remember. La'u Pele comes from a winning program in Utah and a family full of athletes. She is going to be a great fit off the court and will be a terrific teammate.
Brooklynn Haywood, 5-9, G, Camas, Wash. (Union H.S.)
Ranked No. 26 overall in the nation in the class of 2026, a four-star recruit and the No. 2 prospect in the state of Washington, according to the 2026 SportsCenter NEXT 100 … Haywood led the state of Washington with 31.4 points per game and shot over 40 percent from the 3-point line as a junior, adding seven rebounds, five assists and three steals a night … She was one of 50 prep players to be named to the 2025-26 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Girls High School Player of the Year Watch List … She played AAU for Cal Stars based in Orinda, Calif., playing alongside top-10 prospects in Jazzy Davidson and Addie Deal in addition to current Oregon guard Katie Fiso.
Graves on Haywood: Brooklynn is an elite scoring and playmaking guard – one of the best in the country. She's a tireless worker who puts in the time to better herself and her craft. She can score off the dribble and is among the best shooters in the country. She really uses her body well when she penetrates and has an uncanny ability to finish over bigger defenders. She's always been an excellent teammate and gels well with others.
Emilia Krstevski, 6-4, C, Torrance, Calif. (Sierra Canyon H.S.)
Rated as a four-star prospect and checks in as the 41st- ranked player and No. 4 post player in the nation (No. 6 player in the state of California), according to 2026 SportsCenter NEXT 100 … Played for Sierra Canyon High School in California, and was a member of the U17 Canadian National team and competed at the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup in Mexico … Helped lead Sierra Canyon to a 28-3 record as a junior after a 31-3 mark as a sophomore.
Graves on Krstevski: Emilia has a great sense for the game as an inside post player. She's an excellent passer with great hands and comes from a powerhouse high school program at Sierra Canyon, where she's played with some of the nation's most elite players. She has the ability to finish around the rim and will be a presence in the paint defensively. Her personality will fit in seamlessly with the team on and off the court, and we can't wait to get her to Eugene.
