NEW YORK - Oregon's offensive line was announced on Wednesday as one of 10 semifinalists for the 2025 Joe Moore Award, which is presented annually to the nation's most outstanding offensive line unit.
Oregon is the only school to be a Joe Moore Award semifinalist each of the last four years. The other 2025 semifinalists are Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Texas A&M, Utah and Vanderbilt.
The Ducks' offensive line is the highest-graded pass-blocking unit this season by Pro Football Focus at 87.9. Oregon is tied for No. 6 nationally in tackles for loss allowed (30) and tied for 21st in sacks allowed (11).
Oregon's offensive line has paved the way for one of the country's elite rushing attacks, which ranks second nationally in yards per rush (6.36) and sixth in rushing yards per game (239.67). UO has rushed for at least 200 yards in six of nine games this season and each of the last three, including a season-high 415 in a road win at Rutgers.
Since 2022, Oregon ranks second among all FBS teams with ust 42 combined sacks allowed. Army leads the nation in that span with 36 sacks allowed, but the Ducks have attempted nearly 1,200 more passes at 1,650 compared to just 477. Oregon's 42 sacks allowed are 14 less than any other Power 4 team (Ohio State, 56).
