UO Continues Fall Slate at Gonzaga Invite

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon women's tennis team continues its fall season this weekend, with six Ducks competing at the three-day Gonzaga Invitational beginning Friday at Stevens Center in Spokane, Wash.
Those set to compete in Spokane include Patsy Daughters, Hinata Furutani, Avery Jennings, Bridget Mihulka, Juliet Santitto and Olivia Symons. During singles play, Daughters and Symons will compete in the Red Bracket, Jennings and Santitto are slotted into the Gold Bracket, while Furutani and Mihulka are in the Blue Bracket.
The day will begin with doubles, as Daughters and Mihulka will be paired together at 8:30 a.m. in the Gold Bracket. Also in the Gold Bracket will be the team of Furutani and Symons, competing at 9 a.m. In the Red Bracket, Jennings and Santitto are set for a 9:30 a.m. first serve.
A free live stream will be available through GoZags.com, with live results updated on the tournament website through the ITA.
Additionally, Virginia Crocker and Tilde Jagare will be competing at different events over the next week. Crocker was accepted into the ITF W15 Lincoln event in Lincoln, Neb., which begins Monday, Nov. 3.
Jagare will attempt to qualify for the NCAA Fall Championships after being invited to the ITA Sectional Championships in Seattle, set to kick off Thursday, Nov. 6 at the University of Washington.
