Ducks fall to Nittany Lions 4-1.
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Oregon women's tennis team saw its 2026 spring season end in a 4-1 defeat at 56th-ranked Penn State on Sunday at Sarni Tennis Center.

The Ducks (12-13, 3-10) started the day strong by picking up the doubles point to jump out to a 1-0 lead. UO's top duo of Tilde Jagare and Olivia Symons picked up their fifth Big Ten win with a 6-4 victory, while Virginia Crocker and Bridget Mihulka added a 6-2 win on court three.

The Nittany Lions (14-10, 5-8) claimed straight-set wins on courts on, two, three and five to complete the 4-1 victory.

Twelve of Oregon's 13 losses have come against teams ranked inside the nation's top 60. As a team, Oregon boasts a 59-50 combined dual singles record while going 33-24 in doubles play.

The Ducks' 12 dual victories mark their most since winning 15 during the 2021-22 season, and are third-most under eighth-year head coach Courtney Nagle. Nagle is now tied for the longest-tenured head coach in UO history while she sits in second with 85 career dual victories.
