Junior becomes first Duck to earn All-Big Ten honors.
EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon junior Tilde Jagare was voted to the All-Big Ten Second Team while freshman Hinata Furutani was recognized as the team's sportsmanship honoree, as announced by the league office on Wednesday in a vote of the conference's head coaches.
Â
Jagare, a native of Gävle, Sweden, played every match at the No. 1 singles spot in the Ducks' lineup for the first time in her career. She turned in a 10-8 dual record while going 5-5 in Big Ten play, knocking off two ranked opponents in No. 89 Oliwia Orlinska of Maryland and Northwestern's 87th-ranked Margot Phanthala – the first ranked wins of her career.

Additionally, Jagare and doubles partner Olivia Symons played every dual match at the top spot in the order, and were ranked as high as No. 80 in the ITA doubles rankings. The pair went 13-10 this spring while totaling five Big Ten victories.
Â
Jagare's 17 total singles victories during the 2025-26 season set a career high, while she now has 36 combined singles wins over her three seasons as a Duck.
Â
Jagare becomes the first Oregon player to earn all-Big Ten honors since joining the conference, while she is UO's first all-conference selection since Sophie Luescher claimed all-Pac-12 second-team honors after the 2022 season.
Â
The Ducks (12-13, 3-10) reached an ITA team ranking as high as No. 53 this season, while picking up four wins over ranked opponents. Oregon's 12 dual wins mark its most in a single season since winning 15 matches during the 2021-22 season.

Playing the game the right way.
