EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon men's tennis team swept their matches on Saturday, defeating Nevada 6-1 and Seattle 4-0.

Match One: Oregon gained an advantage early in the match, as Nevada started down a point in singles, and a match in doubles due to forfeit.

Quinn Vandecasteele and Matthew Burton dropped the first set in doubles. Ray Lo and David Cierny held the score at 5-5 on court two, but ultimately lost 7-5, giving Nevada the doubles point.

Matthew Burton found success on court five, winning 6-3, 6-1 to put the Ducks ahead 2-1. Zian Vanderstappen finished third from No. 4 with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Nevada.

On court two, David Cierny defeated Edgar Destouet 6-2, 6-3 to clinch the match for Oregon.

Quinn Vandecasteele wrapped up court one with 7-5, 6-3 sets to solidify the UO lead. Vlad Breazu came back from behind to win his first set 7-6 with a 7-4 tiebreaker, and finished the second set 6-1 to wrap up the match.

Match Two: After a delayed start to the evening match, Avi Shugar and Lachlan Robertson set the tone for the Ducks, putting away Seattle's No. 2 doubles team.

Matthew Burton and Vlad Breazu followed with a 6-4 win on court three, while Ray Lo and Lenn Luemkemann went unfinished.

Zian Vanderstappen was first to finish for Oregon, defeating Filip Stipic 6-0, 6-2. Lenn Luemkemann won 6-3, 6-1 on court five. Avi Shugar's 6-3, 6-2 win on court six was the clinching point, resulting in an Oregon win.
