Bio
2007: Veteran at defensive center midfielder looking for her best year yet after successfully coming back from knee surgery last season. Teams with defenders Dylann Tharp and Nicole Dobrzynski to give the Ducks a very solid defensive middle of the field. Dominant in the air.
2006: Revived career following 2005 knee injury to play and start in 19 games, mostly at defensive center midfielder. Two assists and 17 shot attempts on the season. Assisted on Nicole Garbin’s game-winner versus New Hampshire and Barbara Blocker’s game-tying goal against Iona. Was named to the OSU Soccer Classic all-tournament team. Attempted season-high four shots versus Nevada.
2005: Redshirt season due to a spring knee injury.
2004: Played in 11 matches with nine starts. Lone assist came on Mele French’s score against Weber State. Attempted eight shots.
High School: As a senior, was a first-team all-state pick, Pac-9 Player of the Year and team MVP. As a junior, was second-team all-state, first-team all-league and team MVP. Altogether, she was a two-time first-team all-league pick, two-time team captain, and three-time team scoring leader. Lake Oswego Fusion club team was a three-time state champion (U15-17 Premier) and won the 2003 President Days Tournament in Phoenix. A three-year veteran of the ODP state squad, was part of the Oregon state team and Region IV camp from 1999-2002 and regional pool in 2001. Also the starting point guard for the Tigard basketball team that made the state tournament three times. Two-time all-league selection in hoops who broke the school assists record and also ranked in the top four in rebounding, scoring and steals. On the track, she was a 4A state long jump qualifier as a senior (16-1 1/2w, w:2.8) and a two-time all-league selection.
Personal: Born Jennifer Lynn Cameron on Jan. 15, 1986 in Portland, Ore. Parents are Dale and Debbie Cameron. One older sister. Major is psychology.
