2016: Appeared in four games for the Ducks as a freshman, recording minutes against George Mason (3/9), Fresno State (3/13), USC (3/27) and Saint Mary’s (4/3).
Before Oregon: Helped guide Fallston High School to a Maryland Class 2A-1A state title as a freshman before transferring to The John Carroll School her sophomore year … as a senior, helped lead her team to the state semifinals before losing a one-point game to the IAAM conference’s top team … her team finished her senior season ranked No. 4 in the nation … was an honor roll recipient at both FHS and JCS … was a member of the Spanish Honor Society at JCS … also played soccer and basketball.
Personal: Was born in Bel Air, Md., to Brian and Judy Santiago … Brian played football at Harford Community College before going on to attend the University of Maryland and RETS Technical College … has two older sisters, Mandy and Taylor … Taylor currently plays lacrosse at Mercyhurst University.
