In 2007-08, returns for second Duck campaign after she redshirted her first season in Eugene. Needs to clear mark of 12-7.5 to earn outdoor regional invitation. Was one of several newcomers in 2007 to UO's acclaimed pole vault corps that has previously accounted for an NCAA title, another runner-up honor and nine All-America honors. Transferred from the University of Utah, and was a conference qualifier in the pole vault and javelin as a redshirt sophomore in 2006. As a prep, was an Oregon state championships qualifier in the 100 meters and 4x100m relay.
2006-07: Redshirted outdoor and indoor seasons. Competed twice in pole vault unattached outdoors in local meets and cleared 11-1.75 in the Oregon Invitational and Oregon Preview, and placed third and sixth, respectively. Personal / Season Bests: Outdoors ? 3.40m (11-1.75), Oregon Preview / Oregon Invitational, Eugene, Ore. (3/17/07, 4/21/07).
Before of Oregon: Attended the University of Utah for three years from fall of 2003 through spring 2006 and competed two seasons. As a sophomore in 2006, competed in the Mountain West Championships outdoors in the pole vault (11th-tie, 11-7 3/4) and javelin (sixth, 126-2) and indoors in the pole vault (no height). Also competed in league meet outdoors as a freshman in ’04 (javelin, ninth, personal best 128-7; pole vault, 13th, 10-6.75; heptathlon, 3,548). Owned following 2006 redshirt sophomore season bests in the 100m (12.5), pole vault (11-11.75 outdoors and indoors) and javelin (128-7). Ranked top 10 in Utah school history in the pole vault outdoors and indoors.
Prep: In 2004, was an Oregon 4A state championships qualifier as a senior in the 100m, and as a junior in the 4x100m in 2002. Tabbed team’s most valuable sprinter as a freshman, sophomore and junior. Owned following prep bests in the pole vault (10-0), javelin (114-0) and 100m (12.6). Lettered three seasons in basketball at point guard and also one year in soccer at forward. Received Presidential Award for academic excellence. Voted most athletic student of her senior class. High School (Coach): Bend ’03 (Mick Craven).
