Also a walk-on with the football team where he was one of the strongest linemen on the team. Season Bests: Shot Put - 47-9/14.55, Oregon Preview, Eugene, Ore. (3/20/20); Discus - 133-6/40.70, Oregon Twilight, Eugene, Ore. (5/8/10).
Before Oregon: Was the Golden Valley Conference discus champion for the College of the Siskiyous, where he also threw the shot, javelin and hammer. Attended Port Angeles High School (Washington) before college. College of the Siskiyous Bests: Shot Put - 47-9.75/14.57m, 2009; Discus - 146-9/44.72m, 2009; Javelin - 144-7.5/44.08m, 2009; Hammer - 152-4/46.43m, 2009.
