Two-time Pac-10 scorer and an NCAA West Regional qualifier in her first season as a Duck. A 400 and 800 meter Oregon 6A state champion who also ran on Southridge High School’s three-time OSAA state titlist 4x400 meter relay team. Versatile runner raced at every distance between 200 and 1,600 meters and also ran on both relay teams.
2009-10: Outdoors - Pac-10 scorer at 800 meters and on the 4x400 meter relay. Won the 800 meters at the Oregon Preview (2:11.18) in her first Hayward Field race in an Oregon uniform. Ran 2:08.19 at the Stanford Invitational. Took fourth in the 800 at the Pepsi Team Invitational (2:09.37) to help the Ducks win that meet. Ran the opening leg of Oregon's third-place 4x800 relay team at the Penn Relays (8:32.40). At the Pac-10 Championships, ran 2:08.50 in the semifinals before clocking a seasonal best 2:07.54 in the finals to finish sixth. Also ran the third leg of the seventh-place 4x400 meter relay team (3:47.26). Wrapped season with her first NCAA West Regional appearance where she was fifth in her heat in 2:09.24. Indoors - Improved her time in each of her first three 800 meter races. Set a personal best, 2:07.21, Feb. 13 at the Husky Classic. That time was also an NCAA provisional mark. Helped Oregon win its first ever MPSF title by running the lead leg on the winning distance medley relay team (11:17.71) and taking fifth in the 800 meters (2:08.65). Cross Country - Redshirt season. Season Bests: Outdoors - 800 Meters - 2:07.54 (PR), Pac-10 Championships, Berkeley, Calif. (5/16/10). Indoors - 800 Meters - 2:07.21 (PR), Husky Classic, Seattle, Wash. (2/13/10).
Prep: A member of three straight Oregon state 6A championship 4x400 meter relay teams for Southridge High School also won individual titles at 800 meters as a senior and 400 meters as a junior. Won 800 meters (2:16.32) and ran on the winning 4x400 meter relay and runner-up 4x100 meter relay teams to lead Southridge to the 2009 OSAA state title. Earlier her senior year, ran a season-best 2:12.19 800 meters at the Oregon Twilight and a 56.45 400 meters in the Southridge-Jesuit dual meet. As a junior, won the 400 meter state title in 2008 in 56.49. Placed second in the 400 meters at the 2008 Washington/Oregon Meet of Champions (58:15). Also ran cross country for Southridge. High School Bests: 200 Meters - 26.44, 2008; 400 Meters - 56.45, 2009; 800 Meters - 2:12.19, 2009.
