2011-12: Outdoors - Threw the javelin in one meet, the Oregon Preview (201-4/61.38m).
2010-11: Outdoors - NCAA West Preliminary meet qualifier in the javelin. Was the runner-up in the javelin at the season-opening Oregon Preview (204-4/62.28m). Also threw at the Stanford Invitational, Pepsi Team Invitational and Oregon Relays. Scored a point for the team with a third-place finish in the UCLA dual (201-8/61.46m). Season Bests: Outdoors - Javelin - 204-4/62.28m, Oregon Preview, Eugene, Ore. (3/19/11).
2009-10: Outdoors - Impressed in his first season on the track team with a seasonal-best javelin throw of 216-3/65.92m at the Oregon Preview, taking second. Threw at three other meets, including a mark of 194-10 at the Stanford Invitational and 198-8 at the Oregon Twilight. Season Bests: Outdoors - Javelin - 216-3/65.92m, Oregon Preview, Eugene, Ore. (3/20/10).
2008-09: Redshirt season.
Prep: Two-time state javelin champion for Southridge High School. Captured his first title as a junior 2006 before taking the state title as a senior in 2007 with a throw of 198-8/60.55m. Prep best throw of 202-5/61.69m came as a junior in the Southridge-Jesuit dual meet. Delayed his enrollment at Oregon for a year after graduating from high school. High School Bests: Javelin - 202-5/61.69m, 2006.
