Ducks Earn No. 2 Seed In NCATA Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon acrobatics and tumbling team was announced as the No. 2 seed in the 2026 NCATA National Championships on Monday. The Ducks will face No. 7 seed Gannon in the quarterfinal round on Thursday, April 23, at 1:30 p.m. PT.Â
The 2026 NCATA Championships will be hosted by Azusa Pacific in Azusa, Calif., beginning with the quarterfinals on April 23. Semifinals will take place on Friday, April 24, with the national championship match set for Saturday, April 25. Individual event finals will be held on Sunday, April 26.Â
The Ducks (5-2) have been No. 2 in every release of the NCATA rankings this season, with their only two losses coming to top-ranked Baylor. Oregon has three wins over teams ranked in the final NCATA top eight - No. 3Â Quinnipiac, No. 6 Iona and No. 7 Gannon. Oregon will take on Gannon in the opening round of the NCATA Championships, with the winner moving on to face the winner of Quinnipiac vs. Iona.Â
Oregon defeated Gannon, 276.055-270.570, at home on March 6. It was the Ducks' highest point total of the season before putting up 277.680 against Baylor in the regular-season finale last week.Â
Oregon has qualified for the NCATA Tournament in all 15 seasons of competition and is seeking its first national title since 2013. The Ducks have won 59 individual event titles all time, including the seven-element acro, open pyramid and six-element tumbling titles in 2025.Â
