NFL #ProDucks: Week 3
Week three of the NFL season was one for the history books, with three former Oregon quarterbacks starting on Sunday for the first time since 2007. Quarterbacks Bo Nix and Justin Herbert fought a tight battle, with Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers coming out victorious. Marcus Mariota led the Washington Commanders to a win in his first start of the season.
Herbert made history of his own, becoming the youngest NFL player to reach 2,000 career completions at 27 years and 195 days old.
Penei Sewell also had a night to remember, in the best ever contest for an offensive lineman, according to Pro Football Focus.

Detroit Lions 38, Baltimore Ravens 30
Penei Sewell earned a 98.7 overall offensive grade, the highest in PFF history for an offensive lineman. Sewell also recorded a 99.3 run blocking grade across 37 snaps, breaking the standing 18-year-old PFF record set by former Vikings fullback Tony Richardson.
Los Angeles Chargers 23, Denver Broncos 20
Justin Herbert went 28-of-47 for 300 yards and a touchdown, leading the Chargers to a 3-0 start to the season. Herbert became the youngest player in NFL history to reach 2,000 completions.
Troy Dye made four tackles, one sack, and earned an 82.9 defensive grade from PFF. Jamaree Caldwell added three tackles for the Chargers. Rookie Nikko Reed made his debut with Los Angeles, playing six snaps.
Bo Nix completed 14-of-25 while passing for 153 yards and a touchdown, and added 33 yards on the ground for the Broncos. Troy Franklin caught two passes for eight yards. Alex Forsyth played four snaps on Denver's special teams.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 29, New York Jets 27
Bucky Irving led the Buccaneers in rushing, with 66 yards on 25 carries. Irving added 33 yards on four receptions, ranking tenth among half backs with a 71.2 season receiving grade from PFF. Rookie Tez Johnson was targeted once, but did not connect for a pass. Johnson posted a season-best 78.9 run blocking grade from PFF.
Washington Commanders 41, Las Vegas Raiders 24
Marcus Mariota and the Commanders picked up a decisive win over the Raiders as he earned the starting nod in week three. Mariota completed 15-of-21 for 207 yards in the air and a touchdown, added 40 rushing yards, a rushing score and posted a 90.3 passing grade from PFF.
Josh Conerly Jr. started at right tackle for Washington, playing 58 snaps on the offensive line.
Jackson Powers-Johnson played two snaps on kick coverage for the Raiders.
Pittsburgh Steelers 21, New England Patriots 14
Defensive tackle Derrick Harmon, a first round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, made his professional debut with the Steelers. Harmon recorded two tackles and his first career sack.

Carolina Panthers 30, Atlanta Falcons 0
DJ Johnson recorded a tackle while playing 25 snaps in the Panthers' win. Johnson posted a season-best 76.4 defensive grade from PFF.
Brandon Dorlus made a tackle for Atlanta, and posted an 81.0 run defense grade and an 80.9 defensive grade from PFF.
Jacksonville Jaguars 17, Houston Texans 10
Arik Armstead made one tackle and combined for 0.5 sacks in the Jacksonville victory. Johnny Mundt brought in a seven-yard reception while playing 26 snaps.
Jamal Hill played 24 snaps on special teams for Houston.
Cleveland Browns 13, Green Bay Packers 10
Evan Williams totaled six tackles for the Packers, including four solo, while playing 71 snaps.
Indianapolis Colts 41, Tennessee Titans 20
DeForest Buckner earned a 71.4 tackling grade from PFF, while making five tackles for the Colts.
Seattle Seahawks 44, New Orleans Saints 13
Juwan Johnson made six receptions for a season high 51 yards and posted a 79.0 run blocking grade from PFF. Ugo Amadi played 15 snaps for the Saints.
Chicago Bears 31, Dallas Cowboys 14
Noah Sewell made his second start as a Bears' linebacker, making a career-high 11 tackles, including six solo.
TJ Bass played two snaps on kick coverage for the Cowboys.

San Francisco 49ers 16, Arizona Cardinals 15
Deommodore Lenoir made three tackles in the 49ers' win, and earned a 72.9 defensive grade from PFF.
Jordan Burch played 45 snaps for the Cardinals and recorded one tackle.
Kansas City Chiefs 22, New York Giants 9
Jeffrey Bassa made one tackle while playing 13 snaps on special teams for Kansas City.
Jevon Holland started at safety for the Giants totaling five tackles, including three solo, and posted an 80.1 tackling grade from PFF. Kayvon Thibodeaux was also a starter for New York, recording two tackles.
