The Ducks were in full pads Tuesday as they prepare to host Oklahoma State on Saturday.
EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon football team was in full pads Tuesday, one of the team's most physical practices of this week as the Ducks prepare to host Oklahoma State on Saturday (12:30 p.m., CBS).
Oregon will bring a 1-0 record into the matchup after opening the season with last week's 59-13 victory over Montana State at home.
Following Tuesday's practice, local media met with quarterback Dante Moore, offensive lineman Alex Harkey and defensive backs Aaron Flowers. Video of those interviews is embedded below.
Some highlights from the session with Moore …
On the team's performance in the opener: "We did a great job. We met a lot of our goals. But, I feel like my personal growth would be lasting through long drives, building my fatigue and make sure I'm pushing my teammates during drives."
On the key blocks by freshman WR Dakorien Moore: "At first he had to adjust to how the speed and the strength of the college game was. He's done a great job during practice making sure he gets extra reps and that he's pushing himself at practice. So, come game time when he's thrown into the fire of having to block on the perimeter, he's done a great job of doing that, and it's kind of something he's mastered."
On what it was like making his first start since 2023: "After the game it was good to celebrate with my family. My dad cooked and we had a great dinner. We just kicked it as a family. I feel like the next day was kind of a reset, preparing for Oklahoma State. Watched the film, watched how I can get better. It was good to celebrate but within 24 hours it was new opponent, new week and attack the ground running."
