Busy Weekend Finds Ducks in Four States
02/13/25 | Track and Field
The Women of Oregon enter the weekend ranked No. 3 in the nation.
EUGENE, Ore. – Split among its event groups, the Oregon track and field team is back on the road this weekend with entries in five meets across four states. The Ducks' sprint and multis groups are in New Mexico for the Don Kirby Invitational while the distance squad is sending entries to Boston for the BU Valentine Invitational and BC Eagle Elite, and to Arkansas for the Tyson Invitational.
Kobe Lawrence and Jaida Ross will represent the UO throws crew at the Jarvis Scott Invite hosted by Texas Tech.
The meets in Albuquerque and Boston will be streamed on FloTrack with the Tyson meet available on SEC Network+.
Friday Schedule
The Ducks enter the busy weekend with 20 top-25 national marks—15 women, five men—including a nation-leading time of 10:48.45 in the women's distance medley relay. The UO quartet of Ali Ince, Ella Clayton, Ella Nelson and Silan Ayyildiz clocked the time at the Razorback Invitational (Jan. 31), good for the No. 2 time in program history.
That top DMR spot will be challenged by the strong field—BYU, New Mexico, NAU, Stanford, Utah and Washington—assembled at the Husky Classic in Seattle (Friday, 2 p.m.).
