EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon men's tennis team picked up a pair of wins, remaining undefeated at home after a double header with BYU and Portland State.

The doubles played out in favor of the Ducks in their second outing of the day, with wins on courts one and two.
Matthew Burton picked up the first singles win, finishing in straight sets on court four. Clement Lemire followed from court two, allowing his opponent just four games in two sets. Lachlan Robertson decided the win for the Ducks, earning a win on court five.
Russell Soohoo earned his first career singles win, defeating Simon Kuszynski 6-2, 6-3. Paris Pouatcha battled through a tiebreaker to win court three 7-6, 6-1. Vlad Breazu was last to finish, solidifying the sweep for the Oregon.

The Ducks started strong in their morning match, taking the doubles point from BYU. Paris Pouatcha and Clement Lemire defeated Tygen Goldammer and Otto Schreiner in a 6-3 win. Vlad Breazu and Lachlan Robertson secured the doubles point for the Ducks with a 6-3 victory on court three.
Freshman Lemire was first off the singles court, taking down Tygen Goldammer in straight sets at No. 4. Matthew Burton followed from court five, defeating Adam Chodur 6-1, 6-2.
After his doubles success, Breazu clinched the match for Oregon, with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Wally Thayne on court two.
Luemkemann wrapped up a two-set victory on court one, while Cooper Errey battled through three to pick up a win in the No. 6 spot.
The Cougars gained just one point on the day, with Fuchs defeating Pouatcha on court three.
The Ducks return to the Student Tennis Center on February 7 to face Denver University.
