Pregnon, Thieneman Named Sporting News All-Americans
12/17/25 | Football
EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon offensive lineman Emmanuel Pregnon was named to The Sporting News all-America first team on Wednesday while defensive back Dillon Thieneman was selected to the second team.
It is the second first-team all-America honor for Pregnon, who landed on the Associated Press first team earlier this week. He has earned all-America honors by each of the first four organizations that make up consensus and unanimous all-America, also earning second-team recognition by the AFCA and the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
Thieneman earned his third all-American nod after previously being selected to the Associated Press and the Walter Camp second teams.
Both Pregnon and Thieneman were first-team all-Big Ten selections by the league's coaches, the media and the Associated Press.
The No. 5 Ducks (11-1) will host No. 12 seed James Madison (12-1) in the opening round of the College Football Playoff on Saturday, Dec. 20, at 4:30 p.m. in Autzen Stadium.
