EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon volleyball team is back inside Matthew Knight Arena Sunday afternoon to host Washington. First serve of the PNW matchup is scheduled for 1 p.m. The Ducks are 11-4 through the first half the regular season. Both teams carry a 2-3 Big Ten record into Sunday's match.

Clemente led all players with 13 kills while Vaulet added 11 coupled with a .333 hitting percentage. The Trojans out-aced Oregon, 10-0. It was UO's first match of the season without an ace.

The Ducks are undefeated at home this season (4-0) including a pair of conference wins over Iowa and Ohio State. This is Oregon's 15th year playing at Matthew Knight Arena and owns a 149-55 record on its home floor. That mark includes a 94-50 conference tally. Staying Alive
Oregon saved four match points in the fifth set against Iowa (Oct. 3) at Matthew Knight Arena. Iowa led 14-12 but the Ducks pulled even after a kill from Alanah Clemente followed by a tandem block from Iva Sucurovic and Cora Taylor. The visitors had more match points at 16-15 and 17-16 but Valentina Vaulet saved both with kills. Oregon went on to win the fifth set, 19-17, on another Vaulet kill.
RPI Watch
The Ducks check in at No. 41 in the initial RPI release (Oct. 6) of the season. Oregon is one of the 13 Big Ten teams inside the top 51 of the first report. Washington is ranked 47th this week.
