EUGENE, Ore. – Undefeated Oregon lacrosse is set for the national stage as they take on No. 22 Rutgers on Sunday at 9 a.m. on the Big Ten Network. The Ducks are 4-0 for just the second time in program history.

HISTORIC START
With a 17-9 victory over undefeated Rider on Friday, Oregon improved to 4-0 and matched the best start to a season in program history. The last time the Ducks were undefeated through four games was in 2018, a season in which Oregon finished 9-9. Head coach Jessica Drummond is the only coach in program history to win their first four games in charge at UO.
DUCKS DOING IT ALL
Oregon has been dominant on both sides of the ball this season, scoring goals at a high clip while limiting opponents around their own net. The Ducks lead the Pac-12 in scoring, averaging 17.25 goals per game. Defensively, UO is holding opponents to an 8.25 goals against average, which also leads the Pac-12.
SOPHOMORE STUD
Sophomore midfielder Anna Simmons has been on a tear to open the season for Oregon. The youngest of the Ducks' six team captains has scored 16 goals through four games, already doubling her season total of eight in 2023. Simmons' goal total and her 19 points each rank second in the Pac-12.
DRAW CONTROLLER
Oregon midfielder Rachel Pallo made history by breaking the program's single-game draw control record in back-to-back games, recording 11 against Saint Francis (Feb. 16) and reeling in 12 against Marist (Feb. 25). Pallo has dominated the draw control this season, totaling 31 to lead the Ducks in the category. The sophomore is averaging 7.75 draw controls in 2024.
SENSATIONAL SENIOR
Senior midfielder Morgan McCarthy continues to be a leading presence for Oregon after becoming the first Duck to be named to the Pac-12 All-Tournament Team in back-to-back seasons. McCarthy was also named an All-Pac-12 second-team selection for a second consecutive season after leading Oregon with career-highs in goals (37) and points (40).
