EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon women's tennis team will honor senior Daniela Nasser on Wednesday, April 17 (5 p.m. PT) as the Ducks host Portland in their non-conference season finale.
NASSER'S LEGACY
Senior Daniela Nasser has left her mark on the Oregon women's tennis program throughout her four years in Eugene, Ore., embodying what it means to be a student-athlete both on and off the court.
Nasser has accumulated an impressive 63 singles wins throughout her career, ranking eighth among UO history. This past fall, the Tampa, Fla., native recorded 10 singles wins and made an appearance at ITA All-Americans, earning her a career-high singles ranking of 50.
Nasser was also a part of the 2016-17 squad who beat USC and UCLA for the first time in program history. That year when the Ducks faced UCLA in the Pac-12 Tournament, Nasser clinched the match for the Ducks after winning a three-set battle. Additionally, the senior was part of the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2007 and first NCAA team tournament victory since 2004.
To compliment her on-court success, Nasser has excelled in the classroom during her time at Oregon, earning Pac-12 All-Academic first team honors in both 2017 and 2018.

In doubles, Paiton Wagner and Rifanty Kahfiani cruised to a 6-3 victory over No. 61 Emma Wilson and Sophia Thomas at the top spot, but Wildcat wins on courts two and three gave Arizona a 1-0 edge heading into singles.
In singles, Daniela Nasser was the first to put Oregon on the board, downing Wilson, 6-4, 6-2, at the top spot. Kahfiani followed closely behind Nasser, claiming a three-set victory at the No. 2 spot to give the Ducks their second point of the day. But, Arizona rattled off wins on the other four courts to secure the win at home.
On Sunday, the Sun Devils started the day hot, jumping out to an early 1-0 lead over the Ducks after winning doubles on courts one and two.
In singles, the Devils kept their momentum going, rattling off two straight-set wins on courts one and six to extend their lead to 3-0.
