Martinez Moral Leads Day Two at UNC

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Uxia Martinez Moral picked up her second singles victory of the weekend to lead a short-handed Oregon team on the second day of the Kitty Harrison Invitational Saturday.
How it Happened: After delivering the Ducks' only win of singles play on Friday, Martinez Moral again came through with a 6-3, 7-6 (4) victory over Tulane's Adelaide Lavery. The freshman improved to 4-2 in singles play for the fall, leading the way among Oregon's newcomers in wins.
Rifanty Kahfiani dropped Oregon's other singles match, 7-6 (1), 6-3 to Tulane's Mackenzie Clark while Allison Mulville and Kahfiani fell in a close match in doubles play, 8-7 (6), to Chloe Beck and Kelly Chen of Duke. The Ducks were without Julia Eshet on Saturday while Mulville did not compete in singles play for the second straight day.
