Oregon Falls 7-0 to #12 USC in Pac-10 Opener

The Ducks played the match outside at the 18th Street Tennis Courts due to the NCAA rule that if the weather at start time is above 50-degree, winds are below 20 mph and the forecast is clear, the match has to be played outdoors.
Freshman Patricia Skowronski had the tigtest match of the day, taking the first set at No. 4 6-1 before USC's Cristala Andrews rallied to win 6-1 in the second and 6-2 in the third.
Oregon will be back in action tomorrow at noon against No. 4 ranked UCLA. The Bruins are 12-1 on the season and have three players ranked in the top-40 in the country.
