Two solid years of hard work and practice paid off last season as she became Oregon’s top shot blocker and a dependable defensive stopper on the front line ... her length and size can change the game for the opposition ... at 6-6, Jessie is the second-tallest player in Oregon history, behind 6-7 Stefanie Kasperski (1986-90) ... she was the tallest prep recruit in the nation for 2003-04, along with Duke’s Alison Bales and Evansville’s Amanda DeVries.

FRESHMAN • 2003-04
Saw action in 25 of the team’s 29 games, including 11 starts ... missed season’s first four games because of a stress fracture ... averaged 2.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game ... shot 40 percent from the field and 63 percent from the foul line ... scored season-high eight points, grabbed four rebounds and recorded a block and a steal in a win over Montana (12/12) ... tied a season-high with five rebounds and scored six points in just 16 minutes at Stanford (12/29) ... in the next game vs. USC (1/2), had seven points, hitting 3-of-3 from the foul line ... in collegiate debut at Gonzaga (11/25), pulled down four rebounds, scored on a turnaround baseline jumper and recorded a block, steal and assist ... in first start vs. Colorado State (12/6), scored four points and blocked two shots in 14 minutes of play ... had six points and two rebounds at Arizona (2/21).
